This study aims to analyze the application of Islamic-based management principles in enhancing teacher professionalism in Islamic schools. The study uses library research with a descriptive-analytical approach to examine various relevant literatures. The results show that the application of Islamic-based management principles significantly contributes to creating an ethical, harmonious work environment that supports holistic teacher competency development, encompassing pedagogical, personality, social, and professional aspects. The principle of justice ensures fair and proportional management, while consultation enhances active teacher participation in decision-making. Trustworthiness and excellence encourage teachers to perform their duties with integrity and the highest quality as an act of worship to Allah. However, challenges such as a lack of understanding of Islamic-based management and limited human resources remain obstacles in its implementation. On the other hand, advances in information technology and increased public awareness of the importance of Islamic values in education offer great opportunities for more effective application. The study concludes that the application of Islamic-based management can be a strategic solution to improving teacher professionalism while contributing to the overall improvement of Islamic education quality. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for school principals, education managers, and stakeholders to optimize the potential of Islamic education in the modern era</p> Muh. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that Madrasah Tsanawiyah At-Taqwa Bondowoso adopts an Islamic value-based public relations management approach by emphasizing participatory communication and programs that actively involve the community. Key success factors include the leadership of the head of the madrasah, innovation in public relations programs, and synergy between the madrasah, parents, and the community. The study also includes the views of Indonesian and international experts on a local culture-based approach in public relations management to enhance the trust and reputation of Islamic educational institutions. This study identifies how the School Operational Assistance fund management process is carried out and the extent to which the fund management is efficient and effective in improving the quality of education in the madrasah. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a case study approach. Data was collected through interviews with madrasah heads, treasurers, and several teachers, as well as analysis of documents related to reports on the use of School Operational Assistance funds. Data analysis techniques are carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn.</p> <p>The results of the study show that the management of School Operational Assistance funds at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah At-Taqwa is in accordance with the guidelines set by the Ministry of Education and Culture. However, there are several obstacles in terms of planning and reporting that are not fully optimal. The use of School Operational Assistance funds is mostly focused on operational needs and improving the quality of learning, such as the purchase of teaching aids and textbooks. However, the efficiency of fund management is still not optimal because there are expenses that are not in accordance with the priority of needs. In addition, the effectiveness of the use of funds can be seen from the improvement of the quality of teaching and educational facilities, although there are still shortcomings in facilities and infrastructure that support learning. The objectives of this study are: (1) how is the leadership role of the principal in improving the quality of education in SMAS Putri Al-Azhar Gondang Wetan Pasuruan (2) what are the factors that support and hinder it? The method used in this research is qualitative with the type of phenomenology. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed with Milles and huberman analysis. Data validity by triangulation The results showed: (1) Principals are effective in carrying out their roles as educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, motivator, figure, mediator. (2) Supporting factors include various supports such as adequate learning facilities, conducive school environment, and giving rewards and reprimands by effective principals in improving teacher performance. SMP Al Azhar Tritip, with a solid reputation, proves itself as an institution that not only excels in academic achievement, but also in a variety of supporting activity programs, making it the leading private madrasah in Balikpapan.This study aims to determine how Madrasah Management in developing Quality Education and what are the challenges faced in developing Quality Education. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of field reserch research and data analysis used is the Interactive model data analysis. Salah satu tujuan adanya organisasi komite ini adalah agar aspirasi dan prakarsa masyarakat dapet tersalurkan dengan baik, begitupun dengan tanggung jawab, peran masaysrakat, akuntabel dan kedemokratisan dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan dapat benar-benar terwujud. Penelitian akan membahas bagaimana strategi komite dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di MIMA KH SHIDDIQ jember, bagaimana program komite dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, dan apa kendala yang dihadapi oleh komite dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Ada tiga tahapan metode yang digunakan peneliti yaitu metode observasi, metode wawancara, dan metode dokumentasi. Analisa data dalam penelitian ini dengan mencatat data dari hasil wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi, mengorganisasikan data, memilih dan memilahnya untuk menjawab rumusan maslah kemudian mencari dan menemukan makna yang terkait dengan rumussan masalah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) program komite sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan meliputi: rapat rutin komite di setiap semester, ikut andil dalam mensahkan RKAS/RAPBS, menyampaikan usulan dan merekomendasi kepada pemerintah daerah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan pendidikan sesuai dengan kebutuhan sekolah. 2) strategi komite sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan melalui kegiatan diantaranya: rapat rutin komite sekolah dengan seluruh elemen sekolah di setiap akhir semester, ikut andil dalam perumusan visi dan misi sekolah, ikut dalam penyususnan RKAS/RAPBS serta mengembangkannya ke arah yang lebih baik. 3) adapun kendala yang dihadapi oleh komite sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan adalah kurangnya komunikasi antara sekolah dengan komite sekolah karena terbatasnya waktu yang dimiliki oleh komite sekolah, sehingga program komite sekolah menjadi kurang efektif.</p> Achmad Waffiq Alfi Syahrin, Elga Yanuardianto Copyright (c) 2025 JPEM: Journal of Perspectives on Educational Management https://ejurnaliai.attaqwabws.ac.id/index.php/jpem/article/view/10 Mon, 24 Feb 2025 00:00:00 +0700 PROFESSIONAL FIELD PRACTICE: TOWARDS STUDENT CAREER REPUTATION https://ejurnaliai.attaqwabws.ac.id/index.php/jpem/article/view/11 <p>This study aims to examine the organization of the Praktik Lapangan Profesi (PLP) program in preparing students for their careers, particularly those in the Islamic Education Management (MPI) department at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Using a qualitative approach, the study analyzes the implementation of PLP based on eight national education standards. The findings reveal that the PLP program is designed to provide students with practical experience in managing madrasahs, integrating theory and practice, and developing professional skills and work ethics. Additionally, the program incorporates management principles such as division of labor, discipline, unity of command, and a balance between centralization and decentralization. With optimal management, PLP has the potential to serve as an effective platform for enhancing students' career readiness while strengthening collaboration between educational institutions and industry partners.</p> <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengorganisasian Praktik Lapangan Profesi (PLP) dalam rangka mempersiapkan karier mahasiswa, khususnya mahasiswa jurusan Manajemen Pendidikan Islam (MPI) di UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menganalisis pelaksanaan PLP yang didasarkan pada delapan standar nasional pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program PLP dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman praktis kepada mahasiswa dalam mengelola madrasah, memadukan teori dan praktik, serta mengembangkan keterampilan profesional dan etika kerja. Selain itu, program ini mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip manajemen, seperti pembagian kerja, disiplin, kesatuan perintah, serta keseimbangan antara sentralisasi dan desentralisasi.
